Dr. Renate Klein is a biologist and social scientist. She was an Associate Professor of Women’s Studies for many years at Deakin University in Melbourne Australia. Since the early 1980s, she has been a feminist critic of reproductive and genetic engineering and was a founding member of FINRRAGE. She is the author/editor of 20 books, among them Radical Reckonings: Survival in Patriarchy (2025) and Surrogacy: A Human Rights Violation (2017/2026).
