About Lane Scott
Lane Scott holds a PhD from the School of Politics and Economics at Claremont Graduate University. She lives on a ranch with her husband and five children ages 7-18 in the California Gold Country where they raise beef, pork, poultry, lamb, and acres of gardens. Her teen sons apprentice in the trades for the family construction business, and her husband runs a commercial furniture company celebrating over 100 years in American manufacturing. Lane writes at Matriarch Goals and tweets at @LaneSmithScott. Her writing has been featured at the Claremont Review of Books, The American Mind, Blaze.com, Chronicles, and American Greatness.
